3RD EDITION Player's Handbook*

My take on what the 3rd edition of Advanced Dungeons & Dragons should have been.  It borrows heavily from Castles & Crusades, the SRD, and Advanced Dungeons & Dragons (both 1st & 2nd edition).

3RD EDITION Dungeon Master's Guide*

This updated version of the Dungeon Master's Guide is designed to be more compatible with both 1st and 2nd edition Advanced Dungeons & Dragons while using a streamlined d20 system for action resolution.

3RD EDITION MONSTROUS MANUAL*

The final, core book for the 3rd edition Advanced Dungeons & Dragons rules.  It builds off of, and expands upon, the 2nd edition Advanced Dungeons & Dragons book of the same name

3RD EDITION CHARACTER CREATION GUIDE

This is a 10 page, step-by-step, guide for creating 3rd edition Advanced Dungeons & Dragons characters. The guide uses the Greyhawk setting.

3RD EDITION Character Sheet

A simple, Excel character sheet for the 3rd edition Advanced Dungeons & Dragons rules.

3RD EDITION DM SCREEN

Quick-reference charts (weapons, armor, proficiency bonuses, etc.) for both Dungeon Masters and players.

3RD EDITION Group Record Sheet

This sheet helps you keep track of player characters' abilities and view each group at a glance.

2ND EDITION RULES .RTF FILES

This zipped collective of RTF files has most of what you need to get a 2nd edition Advanced Dungeons & Dragons  campaign up and running.

2nd Edition HYPERLINKED Monstrous Manual

This site provides a hyperlinked PDF of the Monstrous Manual... great for when running the game using a tablet or computer.

2nd Edition Rule Archives

This site provides hypertext versions of various 2nd edition Advanced Dungeons & Dragons rulebooks and sourcebooks.

AD&D 2ND edition Character Sheet

The Mad Irishman's simple 2nd edition Advanced Dungeons & Dragons character record sheet.

2ND EDITION DM SCREEN

Quick-reference charts (weapons, armor, proficiency bonuses, etc.) for both Dungeon Masters and players.

1st Edition Character Sheet

The Mad Irishman's customizable Advanced Dungeons & Dragons character record sheet.  He also has amazing reproductions of characters sheets for classic RPGs such as Gamma World and Star Frontiers.

1ST EDITION DM SCREEN

This 1st edition screen was created by Paul J. Stormberg & Brian E. Johnson and posted on the Dragonsfoot website.

1ST EDITION INITIATIVE AND COMBAT TABLE

DM Prata wrote this step-by-step explanation of 1st edition's combat system.

1ST EDITION Level Titles

For those who like that old, Advanced Dungeons & Dragons, feel.  I don't use them but I get wistful looking at them.

BX3E: A MODERN TAKE ON THE BASIC & EXPERT RULES

My take on what a modern version of Moldvay's Basic and Expert Dungeons & Dragons rules would look like.  It covers levels 1-20 and, like Labyrinth Lord, has options that allow you to recreate Advanced Dungeons & Dragons with this ruleset.

OD&D

This Single Volume edition was compiled by Greyharp.  It's much better organized than the original booklets.

5E CLASSIC

This is a scaled-back version of the 5th edition Player's Handbook that attempts to better emulate "old school" D&D with the latest edition.  It is designed to be compatible with the Dungeon Master's Guide and Monster Manual for 5E.

*Some passages, mainly "fluff text" including the race & class descriptions, are excerpts coming from various D&D books of all editions and/or the previous source material.  Their use is not meant to challenge the copyrights or trademarks of the rightful authors or owners.
