3.5 Errata FAQ, & Reference Sheets

Here's the last official errata and FAQ put out by WotC for 3.5.  The 3.5 Reference Sheets contain information on classes, combat, magic, psionics, conditional modifiers, etc.  The 3.0 to 3.5 Conversion Guide is for those looking to port 3.0 characters and supplements into their 3.5 game.

3.5 SRD

The d20 SRD can also be accessed at The Hypertext d20 SRD site.

AD&D 2nd Edition Rule Archives

This site provides hypertext versions of both the 2nd edition core books and a good deal of the "splat books."

AD&D to D&D 3 Conversion Guide

This .pdf offers guidelines for converting 2nd edition AD&D characters to 3rd edition.

AD&D 3 Player's Handbook*

My take on what 3rd edition should have been!  It borrows heavily from C&C, D&D 3.X, and Advanced Dungeons & Dragons (both 1st & 2nd Edition).   I do not claim to be the original author of all of this document's content.  Here are links to the front and rear covers.

AD&D 3 Dungeon Master's Guide*

Here is my completed DMG.  Here are links to the front and rear covers.

AD&D 3 Monster Conversion Guide

A quick guide to converting creatures on-the-fly, for use in your AD&D3 game.

This WoTC document provides guidelines for converting characters and adventures from earlier editions of Dungeons & Dragons to the fifth edition.

D20 Modern SRD

Here's the  SRD for the 3.0 era d20 Modern ruleset by WotC.

This Single Volume edition was compiled by Greyharp.  It's much better organized than the original booklets.

The Old School Reference & Index Compilation is one of the first retro-clones to be released.  Here are the pdfs for the OSRIC rules and Monsters of Myth.

Pathfinder SRD

This website provides the Open Game Content portions for the Pathfinder RPG by Paizo.

Swords & Wizardry SRD

The SRD for the Swords & Wizardry roleplaying game. Frog God Games have given their blessing to this site, and in fact have aided greatly in producing it.

Houserule: AD&D 3 Fate Points

Optional rules for more cinematic, pulpy gaming.

Houserule: AD&D 3 Fixed Hit Points

I used this in my game to boost starting hit points, while cutting down in hit point escalation and variation, at high levels.  It makes starting player characters less fragile and helps make combat less swing-y.

Houserule: AD&D 3 Wild Magic

When you really want to get crazy with AD&D spellcasting madness.

*Some passages, mainly "fluff text" including the race & class descriptions, are excerpts coming from various D&D books of all editions and/or the previous source material.  Their use is not meant to challenge the copyrights or trademarks of the rightful authors or owners.

Donjon Generator Site

Labyrinth Lord Monster Generator

This site presents stat-blocks for Labyrinth Lord monsters, which should be highly compatible with most retroclones of AD&D.

Level Titles

For those who like that old, AD&D, feel.  I don't use them but I get wistful looking at them.

Obsidian Portal

This site help you to manage your tabletop RPG, and allows players to access game materials and discuss your campaign.

Lance Boudreaux's Randomizer generates random tables for anything from encounters and dungeon dressings, to "crappy adventure hooks" and BBEG's.  It's great for throwing a curveball into your game, dealing with unexpected player choices, or for a little bit of inspiration when you can't come up with something to suit the moment.

Roll20 is the easy-to-use virtual tabletop that brings pen and paper gaming to the web the right way. It is fairly simple to use, and works well for gaming with distant gaming-buddies.

My 5th edition Greyhawk page takes the setting back to the classic, boxed set era (576 CY)

This is the "official" site for this classic, evocative, and innovative 2nd edition campaign setting.
